Shane Turgeon is a photographer, business owner, event coordinator, writer, appraiser and avid dealer and collector of pop culture memorabilia.
He’s based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and contrary to popular belief, he is NOT a tattoo artist, however, he is the owner of Shades of Grey, an upscale tattoo shop located in the heart of Edmonton’s historic Whyte Avenue.
In addition to managing Shades of Grey, Shane is also the author and publisher of the Force in the Flesh series of Star Wars tattoo books, the co-founder and former General Manager of the Edmonton Comic and Entertainment Expo, the founder and Director of the Edmonton Collector Con, and a certified appraiser through the Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Group.
When not immersed in the above projects, Shane is often traveling around the world guest-speaking at conventions and festivals and taking photographs of landscapes and the night sky.
